MINE ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING
MINE ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING INTRODUCTION
The environmental engineering system is the branch of
engineering related to the application of scientific and engineering principles
for the protection of human populations from the effects of adverse
environmental factors; the protection of environments, both local and global,
against the potentially harmful effects of natural and human activities; and
improvement of environmental quality.
The environmental engineering system can also be described
as a branch of applied science and technology that addresses the problems of
energy conservation, asset protection and waste control of human and animal
activities. In addition, it is concerned with finding plausible solutions in
the field of public health, such as waterborne diseases, by implementing laws
that promote adequate sanitation in urban, rural and recreational areas.
Involves wastewater management, air pollution control, recycling, waste
disposal, radiation protection, industrial hygiene, animal agriculture,
environmental sustainability, public health and engineering laws environmental.
It also includes studies on the environmental impact of the proposed
construction projects.
The system of environmental engineers studies the effect of
technological advances on the environment. To do this, they conduct studies on
the management of hazardous waste to assess the importance of such hazards,
advise on treatment and containment, and develop regulations to prevent
setbacks. Environmental engineers design municipal water supply systems and
industrial wastewater treatment systems. They deal with local and global
environmental problems,
such as the effects of acid rain, global warming, ozone depletion, water pollution and air pollution from car exhaust and industrial sources. Many universities offer environmental engineering programs in the civil engineering department or in the chemical engineering department in the engineering faculties.
