ENGINEERING CHEMISTRY
Chemistry is related to each and everything that can be felt, from the elementary level to the massive complex structures. It is about how things are constructed and formulated, how they separate and the energy that is absorbed or released in each of these processes.
The study of the science of chemistry shows us, for example, how the table salt that we eat every day is actually built with crystals formed by sodium and chlorine, and why the Statue of Liberty, built with metallic copper, now it's green
Chemists are people who understand, treat and use chemistry in three different ways:
- They help explain events, describe how things happen and why they occur.
- They research materials to study and discover their chemical composition.
- They combine and mix substances to create new chemicals and compounds like medicines and shampoos.
Frequently called "central science", chemistry incorporates and connects both the science of biology and physics and is of great importance in engineering applications and the study of medicine.
